The Estenberg Family Society was founded in 1960 with the purpose of joining the family together and for documenting the family annals.

The society today has about 250 members. The family directory, which is computerized (Disgen) comprises about 19 210 names.

Who can become a member?
You can become a member if you are a direct descendant of professor Petrus (Peter) Estenberg born in Stockholm 3 June 1686 and vicar and dean of Jämshög parish from 1727 until his death in 1740.

What can the society offer you?
At the time of writing, foreigners to Sweden do not pay an annual fee. As a member, you will receive the membership magazine twice yearly and enjoy social contacts by family gatherings and excursions.

As a member you can also join our Facebook group.

Two books, under the name ”Petrus and Regina Estenberg; From the end of the 15th century to 1848” and ”The noble family Estenberg; The emigrants ” can be purchased, in English, through the society.

We can also offer you print-outs of family registers for a fee of 300 SEK.

Payment can be made via PayPal.
